UPVC is Unplasticized Poly Vinyl Chloride. The main component of UPVC is salt. The extrusion process of PVC uses 3 times less energy than aluminium smelting. Our UPVC contains no traces of lead.

  • What is the maximum size of Double Glazed Unit?
With window design you should consider the weight issue of Insulated Glazing Units. The standard 4x4x20 unit weighs 25 kg per square metre. For a unit larger than 3 metres squared, the glass thickness must be increased in accordance to building regulations. For example: Unit 2600×2400 will weigh 310 kg. It will require expensive heavy lifting equipment on the construction site, at the time of glazing. We recommend this issue be discussed in advance with us.
  • What type of glass I can get in Double Glazed Units?
Our standard Glass unit is 28mm (4mm+20+4mm) float or toughened. Standard obscure glass is Decor Satin (Frosted) or Cathedral. If you require a different type of glass, you can discuss that with us. Almost any glass is available to you including tinted and obscure.

Never. Our windows and doors corners are welded.
  • How I can improve security?
As you know our windows are glazed from the inside. It means that glass can only be removed only from the inside of the premises. You can choose windows and doors with multiple locking hardware (Tilt and Turn being the best option) and we install lockable handles to all windows as standard.
